Lawrence Lange is an American artist whose work examines technological systems and their impacts on humanity and civilization. Lange began his academic studies in both graphic design and fine arts. However, his increasing fascination with the intersection of art and history led him to pursue architectural studies at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Design degree. He further advanced his education at Columbia University, where he obtained a Master of Architecture degree in 2003.
After dedicating two decades to the architectural profession in New York City and Houston, Texas, Lange sought a more balanced life and turned to painting as a means of creative expression. His lifelong passion for drawing and painting, combined with a deep interest in experimental art and architecture, spurred him to begin his artistic practice in 2007.
